At 3:55 am on February 5, 2025, the Qinyang Meteorological Observatory upgraded the blue warning signal for strong winds to a yellow warning signal for strong winds. Currently, the instantaneous maximum wind speed at the Changping Mountain Range Station in our city has reached 24.9 meters per second (level 10). It is expected that in the next 12 hours, some townships (towns) and streets in our city, such as Ziling Town, Chongyi Town, Baixiang Town, and Changping Township, will still maintain a westerly wind of level 8 to 9, and local gusts can reach level 10 or above. Please pay attention to disaster prevention, reduction, and safety production work. Defense guidelines: 1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job in preventing strong winds according to their responsibilities. 2. Timely stop outdoor activities, stop high-altitude, water and other outdoor operations, stop outdoor gatherings, and people in dangerous areas and residents of dangerous buildings should try to move to sheltered places for shelter. Outdoor places such as parks, scenic spots, and amusement parks should take protective measures to ensure the safety of personnel. 4. Residents should tightly close doors and windows, properly place outdoor shelves and hanging objects, and avoid going out. When going out, stay away from outdoor billboards, sheds, metal houses, board houses and other structures that are easily moved by strong winds. 5.
