The Yilan County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog at 5:20 am on May 7, 2026: Currently, fog with visibility less than 500 meters has appeared in Yilan Town, Yinglan Township, Hongkeli Town, Yugong Township, Tuanshanzi Township, Daotaiqiao Town, Sandaogang Town, Jiangwan Town, and Dalianhe Town in our county, and local visibility is less than 200 meters. It is expected that fog will continue for the next 5 hours. Relevant units and individuals are requested to pay attention to prevention.
Description
Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.
