At 17:30 on February 28, 2025, the meteorological station of Shigatse City, Xizang, issued a yellow road icing warning signal: affected by the snow weather, it is expected that from 20:00 on February 28 to 20:00 on March 1, the G219 Jilong Zhongba section, G318 Dingri Nyalam section, G216 Jilong section, G562 East Asia section, S514 Dingjie section, etc. will easily form snow and ice, which will adversely affect road traffic. Defense measures: 1. Traffic, public security and other departments should take measures to deal with road snow and ice accumulation. 2. Drivers should take anti-skid measures to ensure safe driving.
Description
When the road surface temperature is lower than 0°C, precipitation occurs, and road icing that affects traffic may occur within 12 hours.
