At 19:10 on December 26, 2024, the Xiuwu County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that in the next 24 hours, towns such as Chengguan Town, Qixian Town, Xunfeng Town, Zhouzhuang Town, Yuntaishan Town, Wangtun Township, Wuliyuan Township, Xicun Township, etc. in our county will experience northwest winds of around level 5 and gusts of level 7 to 8. Please be aware of the adverse effects caused by strong winds. Defense guidelines: 1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job in preventing strong winds according to their responsibilities. 2. Stop high-altitude, water-based outdoor operations and recreational activities. 3. Close doors and windows, reinforce structures such as enclosures, sheds, and billboards that are easily moved by the wind, properly place outdoor items that are susceptible to strong winds, and cover building materials. 4. Pedestrians should try to ride bicycles as little as possible and not linger under billboards, temporary structures, etc. when it is windy. 5.
