湖南省气象台2025年1月4日7时56分发布霾橙色预警：预计4日8时至5日8时，湘北、湘东部分地区将出现重度霾，请注意防范。橙色预警区域：长沙、株洲中北部、湘潭、张家界大部分地区、常德、益阳大部分地区、岳阳、衡阳北部。
