At 14:41 on April 23, 2025, the Longhai District Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that within the next 6 hours, there will be lightning activity in Longhai District (central and western towns such as Chengxi Town, Dongsi Township, Shuangdi Farm, Bangshan Town, Haicheng Town, Shima Street, etc.), High tech Zone (Jiuhu Town, Yancuo Town), Taiwan Business District (Jiaomei Town) and other towns, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, 6-8 level thunderstorm winds and other strong convective weather in some areas.
