At 00:40 on November 23, 2024, the Lankao County Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog: it is expected that within the next 6 hours, all towns and streets including Lanyang Street, Tongxiang Street, Huian Street, Guyang Town, Nanzhang Town, Kaocheng Town, Hongmiao Town, Guying Town, Dongbatou Town, Xiaosong Town, Yifeng Town, Sanyizhai Township, Mengzhai Township, Xuhe Town, Putaojia Township, Yanlou Township, etc. will experience fog with visibility less than 200 meters. Party committees, governments at all levels, and industry regulatory departments assess local and industry risks and initiate contingency plans.
