Wuxi Ecological Environment Bureau issues orange warning for heavy pollution weather

According to the forecast, the air quality in our city will gradually deteriorate due to adverse weather conditions, local pollutant accumulation, and northern pollution transmission. After consultation, it has been decided to activate the orange warning for heavy pollution weather from 8:00 am on January 16th.

Description

It is predicted that heavy pollution or severe pollution will occur alternately for 3 days in the future.

Guidelines

1. Remind children, the elderly, patients with respiratory tract, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and other susceptible people to stay indoors as much as possible and avoid outdoor sports;

2. It is recommended that primary and secondary schools and kindergartens stop outdoor sports such as physical education, inter-class exercises, and sports meets;

3. The general population should try to avoid outdoor activities;

4. For outdoor activities, appropriate protective measures such as wearing masks can be taken.
