The meteorological observatory of Haibei Prefecture issued a blue rainstorm warning at 18:20 on August 15: It is estimated that from 05:00 on August 16 to 05:00 on August 17, the cumulative precipitation of Gangcha (Hargai Town, Jirmeng Township), Qilian (Zhamashi Township, Yeniugou Township), Haiyan (Ganzihe Township, Qinghai Lake Township), and Menyuan (Qingshizui Town, Sujitan Township, Huangcheng Mongolian Township, and Beishan Township) can reach 30-35 mm, and the maximum hourly rainfall intensity can reach 10-22 mm. The heavy rainfall is mainly concentrated from 14:00 on August 16 to 05:00 on August 17. During the process, there will be short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, hail and other severe convective weather. The meteorological risks of secondary disasters such as landslides, mudslides, floods in small and medium-sized rivers, flash floods, and urban and rural waterlogging are relatively high.
