At 16:03 on November 5, 2024, the Guangfeng District Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that within the next 24 hours, gusts of 7-8 levels will occur in the rivers, lakes, water surfaces, and high-altitude mountainous areas of Danan Town, Dashi Street, Dongyang Township, Fengxi Street, Hengshan Town, Huqiao Town, Hufeng Town, Yandi Town, Lulin Street, Maocun Town, Paishan Town, Quanbo Town, Shatian Town, Shaoyang Township, Songfeng Township, Tongfan Town, Tongba Mountain Reclamation Farm, Tongboshan Town, Wuchun Town, Wudu Town, Xiafeng Town, Xiaxi Street, Yangkou Town, Yongfeng Street, and other areas. It may be affected by strong winds within 24 hours, with an average wind force of 6 or higher, or gusts of 7 or higher; or it has been affected by strong winds, with an average wind of 6-7, or 7-8 gusts and may continue.
