At 12:15 on January 5, 2025, the Dongfeng County Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for a cold wave: it is expected that the lowest temperature in all towns (streets) in the county will drop by 6-8 ℃ in the next 24 hours, and some towns may experience a temperature drop of up to 10 ℃. The County Emergency Management Bureau and the County Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to cold prevention and warmth preservation work.

Description

Within 48 hours, the minimum temperature will drop by more than 8°C, the lowest temperature is less than or equal to 4°C, and the average wind force on land can reach level 5 or more; or it has dropped by more than 8°C, the minimum temperature is less than or equal to 4°C, and the average wind force can reach level 5 or more, continued.

At 11:50 am on January 5, 2025, Dongfeng County Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for road ice and snow: it is expected that in the next 24 hours, the road surface temperature will be below 0 ℃, accompanied by snowfall weather, and there may be road icing or snow accumulation that affects traffic in all towns (streets) of the county. The County Public Security Bureau, County Emergency Management Bureau, and County Meteorological Bureau jointly remind everyone to take preventive measures.
