At 19:33 on July 16, 2026, the Dafang County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow lightning warning signal: it is expected that thunderstorms will occur in towns (streets) such as Maochang, Dingxin, Lutang, Muoge, Jiuyi, Dongguan, Sanyuan, Xingsu, and Baili Dujuan Baina in our county in the next 6 hours, accompanied by strong winds, short-term heavy rainfall, small hail and other severe convective weather in some areas. Please stay away from large trees, corners of walls, or areas with protruding metal objects. Relevant departments should take lightning response measures and strengthen prevention of disasters and accidents caused by lightning activities.
