At 12:51 on July 4, 2026, the Dafang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal: it is expected that thunderstorms will occur in towns (streets) such as Maochang, Dingxin, Machang, Niuchang, Lutang, Duijiang, Xiaotun, Lihua, Huangnitang, Shunde, Hongqi, Muoge, Jiuyi, Yangchang, Walnut, Daxi, Xingsu, Babao, Xinglong, Piaojing, Dashan, Changshi, Guowa, Baili Dujuan Baina, Pudi in the next 6 hours, accompanied by strong convective weather such as strong winds and short-term heavy precipitation in some areas.
